Filing a claim with Jamail is a documented 5-step process with a one-business-day response guarantee. No support queues, no rotating phone trees.

Email claims@jamailhardwoods.com with the issue + photos.
2 · Acknowledge
One business day — we acknowledge the claim and assign a claim number.
3 · Document
We request the install record, moisture readings (if applicable), and on-site assessment photos.
4 · Assess
Our NWFA-trained team evaluates against warranty terms — typically 3-5 business days.
5 · Resolve
Replacement product, refund, or warranty-aligned remediation. Documented closeout.
Frequently asked claim questions
How long do I have to file a warranty claim?
Warranty periods vary by product — typically 25 years residential and 5-10 years commercial. The earlier you flag an issue, the easier the documentation. Most warranty disputes arise from delayed reporting, not warranty terms.
Does install method affect the warranty?
Yes. Warranties require NWFA-aligned install. Improperly installed floors (no moisture barrier, no acclimation documentation, non-NWFA crews) may void coverage. We document install records on every job.
What if the issue is from cleaning or maintenance?
Maintenance-related issues (water damage, improper cleaner use, etc.) typically aren't covered. We provide detailed maintenance guides to prevent this — see the install + maintenance section above.
Do you replace or remediate?
Depends on the issue and the warranty. Manufacturing defects typically get replacement product. Install issues may require partial board replacement or refinish work — we coordinate with the install crew on these.
